Take the next step after Open Water
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed for certified divers who want to build confidence, gain experience, and expand their underwater skills. Rather than beginner-level training, this course focuses on practical experience and real diving in the Red Sea. PADI describes it as a skills-building course with very little classroom or reading compared with Open Water.
5 Adventure Dives that count toward your certification
You’ll complete five PADI Adventure Dives: the two required dives — Deep and Underwater Navigation — plus three additional Adventure Dives selected around local conditions and your interests. PADI states that these dives can earn credit toward the related PADI Specialty certification. They do not count as a full Specialty certification on their own, but they can give you a valuable head start toward one.
6 total dives in our package
Alongside the 5 official PADI Adventure Dives, our package also includes 1 extra fun dive. That gives you more time in the water to enjoy the Red Sea, build confidence, and gain additional experience beyond the core course requirements.
Learn by diving
There are no classroom sessions with us. Complete the required knowledge development through PADI eLearning before or during your course, then review the key points with your instructor on the boat before your dives. From there, the focus is on practical learning in the water, applying what you’ve learned directly during your Adventure Dives.
Finish with more confidence and a deeper limit
By the end of the course, you’ll have completed your Advanced Open Water training, improved key skills such as navigation and depth awareness, and qualified to dive to 30 m / 100 ft within training limits.
Between dives on board
Between dives, you can relax on board, enjoy the Red Sea views, and take a break. Water, fresh fruit, and cake are included, while lunch and additional drinks are available at extra cost.
